garmin-plugin software package provides browser plugin for communication with the fitness websites, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install garmin-plugin
garmin-plugin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the garmin-plugin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep garmin-plugin *
You will get with garmin-plugin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
